We are a long established, friendly archery club in Redbridge near Ilford east London. We shoot outdoors at our field on Saturday mornings from around 10am. Our field is located at 437 Wanstead Park Road not far from the Redbridge junction of the North Circular Road and the A12. The entrance can be seen here:- Google Streetview of our field entrance. We are affiliated to Essex and Suffolk County Associations, Archery GB (the National Society) and through them to World Archery.
We offer beginners courses for anyone interested in taking up the sport of archery either at a competitive level or as a fun pastime. The beginners course comprises 4 weeks of 3 hour sessions. Our courses are run by fully qualified coaches and comply with all current archery safety and safeguarding standards. Our club will supply all equipment needed for those enrolled on a course. We have enough equipment to suit all size and physical strengths. Sessions are usually run on Saturday afternoon depending on prevailing weather conditions. The cost of an adult beginners course is £60 per student, £40 for those under 18 years. The minimum age for beginners is10 years, they must also be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian for the entire course, regardless of whether the parent/guardian is shooting or not. For any further beginners course information not covered here, please email our coaches at: email@example.com
We are always keen to welcome new members to our club. We regularly shoot on Saturday mornings from around 10am, and occasionally other weekdays when a keyholder is available, usually broadcast from our WhatsApp group. We have a well stocked store of equipment for Archery GB registered members to use. We also have permanent targets set up on our field, these can be moved for shooting distances from 10 yards to 70 meters or more, so club members can simply turn up and shoot. Please note that new club members must be registered with Archery GB to cover insurance while shooting at the club. The cost of Archery GB registration depends on the age of each archer, and when the registration date is in relation to the end of membership year (30th September each year). If you are a first time visiting Associate club member or a visiting archer from another club, please remember to bring with you a valid Archery GB membership card, or ecard equivalent.
We often arrange different fun days and competitions during the archery season for our club and associate members entertainment. Follow this link to see some of our past events: Our past fun shoot days and competitions.
We take our responsibility of keeping our members data safe very seriously.
